Lady Macbeth

About event

William Shakespeare "Lady Macbeth"

In the performance of William Shakespeare's tragedy "Macbeth" titled "Lady Macbeth", the central driving force of the events is focused on Lady Macbeth herself. The play illustrates the extreme degree of vengeance, vanity, and guilt.

Macbeth's murder of Duncan is the turning point. Evil always breeds evil, and it gradually takes hold of everything around. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are forced to continue killing to conceal their crimes. Eventually, Macbeth's ambition to become king leads to his downfall. He arrogantly misinterprets the witches' prophecies, believing in the promises of glory. He heard what he wanted to hear and believed what he wanted to believe. The feeling of guilt prevents them from fully enjoying the power they longed for. The guilt continues to torment Lady Macbeth. This sin ultimately drives both of them to madness and death by the divine judgment.

The director of the performance is Honored Artist Nijat Kazimov.
