About event

"Qaraca Qız"

A prominent figure in Azerbaijani literature, Suleyman Sani Akhundov, wrote stories under the title "Frightening Tales" between 1912 and 1914.
Readers particularly love the story "Qaraca Qız" from this series. The story meaningfully reflects children's moral world, their ability to love and value life and humanity.

In 1948, poet, writer, and a classic of Azerbaijani children's dramaturgy, Abdulla Shaig, wrote a play of the same name based on this story. Since then, the play has been staged in many theaters across the country.

The Shusha State Musical Drama Theater troupe has also adapted this play and eagerly awaits its young audience with an engaging theatrical production.
The director of the play is Honored Artist Logman Karimov, the set designer is Valeh Mammadov, and the music arranger is Asyakhanim Heydarova.
