Lerik Region Museum of Longevity

About event

The Lerik Museum of Longevity was established in 1991 under the Lerik History and Ethnography Museum. Since its foundation, its main focus has been the display of photographs of local long-living residents, as well as exhibits reflecting their lives and creativity.

Since 2010, the museum has been operating as an independent institution. Today, it has two exhibition halls where various materials about centenarians are displayed. The museum’s collection consists of 1,417 exhibits.

Thus, the Museum of Longevity is one of the important cultural centers that preserves and promotes the heritage of the Lerik region and Azerbaijan as a whole.
